Come and Play ‘Elite Surface’ Street Soccer
SDB WA Academy, proudly supported by Elite Surface Protection, is bringing back the spirit of street football this July school holidays with a brand-new kids-led program in Port Kennedy.
'Elite Surface' Street Soccer is not a training session, a clinic, or a structured program. It is three hours of pure, uninterrupted football - where the kids are completely in charge.
No coaches. No referees. No adults telling players what to do. Just kids playing football the way it was always meant to be played.

What is Elite Surface Street Soccer?
Elite Surface Street Soccer is a school holiday initiative inspired by the way previous generations played football on the streets.
The concept is simple: give the kids the ball, give them the space, and let them own the game.
Players will:
Organise themselves into teams
Set and manage their own rules
Solve problems and disputes together
Make decisions as a group
Play freely, creatively, and with full confidence
There are no drills, no coaching instructions, and no structured sessions. Just football in its purest form.
Who is Elite Surface Street Soccer for?
Elite Surface Street Soccer is open to:
All current SDB WA Academy players aged 6 to 13
Friends and non-members who want to join in
Players who want to register as a team or as an individual
Kids who love football and want to experience it differently
Individual players who register on their own will be placed into teams based on age and numbers, so every child is included from the moment they arrive.

One of the most powerful things we can do for young players is step back and let them play.
Research in youth sport and child development consistently shows that unstructured, player-led play builds:

Many of the world's greatest footballers grew up playing street football long before they ever stepped onto a structured training pitch. The creativity, the improvisation, the confidence under pressure - these qualities are discovered through free play, not taught through drills.
