Phase 2: Development Program

(Ages 6-13)

Building the Complete Foundation

Duration: 7-year program.

This phase represents the core of player development. Children mature at different rates physically, mentally, and emotionally  and our methodology is built to respect and support those differences.

Why This Phase Is Longer

Because true development takes time, repetition, and the right learning environment.

Game Understanding Framework

  • Structured training while keeping football fun

  • Development across all 4 Pillars

Players are educated across the five moments of the game:

  • Attacking

  • Defending

  • Attacking Transition

  • Set Pieces

Each moment is developed through three tactical perspectives:

  • Individual

  • Group

  • Collective

The Four Pillars of Development:

  • Technical: Ball mastery, passing, receiving, finishing

  • Tactical: Game understanding and decision-making

  • Physical: Coordination, agility, speed, and age-appropriate strength

  • Mental: Confidence, resilience, focus, emotional control
